I've been reading this strange and sexy manga series called Manga Sutra as of lately. Yes, it's just like what it sounds like it is. It's the Kama Sutra (known for being somewhat of a sex manual) but in manga format. However, this series also has it's own little unique storyline as well.
It's about a young, newly wed couple. Their names, Makoto and Yura. Now, these two are probably the purest couple out there, having absolutely no knowledge about sex or anything of the sort. So when they got married, they had no idea what to do when they made love to one another for the first time.
The story follows their sexual experimentation, trying to please one another, and maintaining their marriage at a healthy state. Along the way, they learn from others different techniques, positions, and various things that help them with their little problem.
Before you say, "Doesn't that make this a hentai manga?" No, it's not. It's just a manga series that has sexuality and some nudity in it. There's never any penetration shown, other than diagrams and stuff, and the action itself is quite light.
Along with the story itself, it's also got little segments where medical charts and stuff are shown to further explain certain aspects of what's going on. These little snippets of information are backed up by actual doctors and have a glossary on the back to show which books the information is from.
So it's sort of like a sex manual but in drawing format instead of reading.
What gives this series a sort of charm is that it touches on a lot of the things that beginners run into when they're just becoming sexually active. From premature ejaculation to stimulating the clitoris. All urban myths are touched upon and some are even proven or proven wrong.
Whether you're just curious, somewhat perverted, or just want a slightly humorous look at the kinda problems you used to encounter back in your days, Manga Sutra is a series just for you.
